Ring Craft

#####STOP PRESS######

Our ring craft classes on a Tuesday night have been suspended due to Covid -19.  However, we are starting to run outside ring craft classes on a Friday afternoon/evening.  Please use the Contact Us page or contact us via our Facebook page where all the details are.

Our ring craft classes are for learning dog showing techniques, which can be taught, practiced and appraised on an informal basis by our experienced show instructors.  We share information between the novice and experienced dog show exhibitors and all advance in techniques. Young puppies to older dogs gain from the socialisation, learning how to behave in the show ring and to accept examination by a judge.

Ring craft classes are normally held Tuesday evening in Easterton Village Hall, Kings Road, Easterton, Devizes Wiltshire SN10 4PS See map.  They are friendly and run from 8pm to 9pm each Tuesday.

Cost £5 per dog and £2 for each extra dog you bring.

Everyone attending must join as a member of the Club.

We do not run Puppy Training, Obedience or Agility classes.

Junior Handling

Slightly different from showing, Junior handling is all about the handler and how he/she presents their dog.  Patterns are taught and the handlers gain in confidence in all aspects of handling a dog.

Cost £2 per Junior Handler

Sadly we have decided to suspend our Junior Handling classes at the end of December 2016 as the attendances are too low to sustain it. However Juniors are welcome at our Ring Craft classes.

For further information please see our Facebook page.  Each Junior Handler must become a member of the Club.

For all enquiries regarding Ring Craft or Junior Handling, please contact us through our Contact Us page.

Matches are held from time to time, creating situations that are more likely to be met within the showing world.  These are informal gatherings and a fantastic way to introduce both the novice dog and/or handler to showing.
